Rapid Communications
The content of the abstract is summarised in up to 5 slides.
The essential content of an abstract or research paper is summarised in up to five slides. Rapid Communications are presented to conference participants in Rapid Communication Sessions (3-minute presentation + 2-minute discussion) and made available on site at self-study terminals.
Please prepare your presentation according to the following outline (one slide per key point):
- Title
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
Submissions must be made exclusively in electronic form via the Upload Centre.
Technical requirements & notes
The choice of software for creating your Rapid Communication presentation is basically up to you. Please note the following technical requirements:
- File type: PDF
- Format: Landscape format 16:9
- max. 5 slides (see outline)
- Animations, sound and links are not permitted or cannot be accessed by the reader at the terminal.
Language
The preferred language for your Rapid Communication talk is German. The PDF file should be created in English.
The upload will be possible from April 2026.
As the PDF files will be technically checked before the congress and adjustments may be necessary, it is important to submit them in good time.

In accordance with international standards on the necessary transparency of potential conflicts of interest (COI), we ask you to disclose your business, personal and/or material relationships with industrial companies, consulting companies or funding bodies or sponsors of medical institutions as part of your engagement. Please remember to include your conflict of interest declaration in your presentation.
